Delete Your Account
You can delete your account directly inside the Zilong app:
- Open Zilong and tap the menu (☰)in the top-left corner.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to the Cloud Account section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.
What is deleted
- Your Firebase Authentication account (email or Google login)
- All cloud-synced data (study progress, profile, warrior profile)
- All locally stored study records, settings, and progress on the device
What is retained
- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics event logs may be retained by Google for up to 14 months per Google’s standard data retention policy. These are anonymized aggregates and cannot be linked to your account after deletion.
- RevenueCat (our payment processor) retains transaction records as required by financial regulations.
Delete Your Data (Without Deleting Your Account)
You can erase all study progress and app data while keeping your login account active:
- Open Zilong and tap the menu (☰)in the top-left corner.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to the Data section.
- Tap Reset All Progress.
- Confirm the reset in the dialog that appears.
What is deleted
- All study records, mastery levels, and review history
- Profile data (username, XP, streak, daily goals)
- Warrior profile and dungeon progress
- All cloud-synced copies of the above (when signed in to a cloud account)
What is retained
- Your login account (email or Google) remains active
- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics logs (anonymized, retained by Google for up to 14 months)
- RevenueCat purchase and transaction records (required by financial regulations)
